I’ve known of The 24 and of all they do for the community in recovery for a number of years. In 2018, after celebrating 21 years sober, I made the commitment to myself that I was going to return to service work. Admittedly, I had gotten too far away from giving back. Timing is everything I suppose and it was not long after recommitting myself that I was asked to be a founding member of the Dallas 24 Hour Club Advocate Board. Without hesitation, I accepted. How could I not be a part of something that gives so much to so many? I look forward to my new adventure with The 24.
